Floodline is an imaginary landscape of a river flowing from icy mountains. The borderline between safety and chaos. A dirt road takes you to the edge of the flood line. The river is flowing in full force. It’s bordered one side by big trees that withstood the ebbs and tides of time. A dilapidated fence spells out the name of the person I thought of when I painted this painting, my Dad. He loved nature scenes, rivers, trees, and mountains. This painting was painted by me, Sonette Bosch, during the Covid 19 pandemic time 2020 when I started to run out of art supplies.

Windows to My Soul is a painting about a young woman with blond hair and delicate features, hiding in the folds and layers of colorful, but mostly blue, material. Her piercing blue eyes watch you, trying to look right into your soul. She was inspired by a picture of a model that I saw with these beautiful eyes folded in multi-colored material that reminds me of the Mediterranean. I captured it on canvas board and I used Acrylic paint. Painted in 2014 by Sonette Bosch.
